Kailani Blue is proud to provide you quality service in a comfortable atmosphere at a reasonable rate. The current industry rates for a full set of eyelash extensions in the greater San Diego area range from about $250-$300. Unfortunately, there are providers that consider a full set to be as little as 45 lashes on each eye. This can cause the cost per lash to be anywhere from $2 to upward of $7 which is blatantly excessive. In order to provide customers with fair and consistent prices, Kailani Blue charges a flat rate of $1.50 per lash applied for both initial full sets and also relashes (refills). This a la carte style pricing will cater to clients' natural number of lashes, desired effect, and budget. It will also provide a fair scale for clients who wish to get a relash, as the number of lashes needed varies greatly from client to client. Contributing factors of lash life may include: care of lashes, time of last appointment, exposure to the elements, use of particular facial products, etc.
Things to know before your appointment:
The first forty-eight hours are crucial for a strong bond. You should keep your lashes dry and avoid touching them. After forty-eighthours, care is fairly simple: avoid oil based products, cleanse your lashes regularly and be gentle with the lashes. They are resistant to water, sweat and tears.
- Arrive with a makeup free face and clean lashes. Clean lashes will allow for a stronger bond. We suggest that you shower immediately before your appointment so that you will not have to worry about getting your lashes wet in the shower.
- For the first 48 hours after application the lashes should not be exposed to water or steam to allow the adhesive time to fully bond. We recommend avoiding exercising, swimming, the beach and the spa for 48 hours after lash application for best results.
- Be gentle with your eyelashes; do not pull on the extensions or rub the eyes excessively.
- Avoid the use of oil-based products on or around the eyelashes and do not use waterproof mascara. Water-based mascara and water-based mascara remover may be used if desired. Apply the mascara sparingly and remove it gently with a water-based eye makeup remover.
